After a few years of gestation and thought, the first iteration of the Bike Law Pocket Guide has been pushed to the Apple App Stores. With that said, some time in the coming week or so, we hope to see this application make it into the wild.

This has been a very long time coming. The original idea and concept of this goes back almost to the original iPhone. Time constraints always seemed to push the whole project to the side. Then when it finally started to come into being, it happened in fits and starts. However, over the last few months, outside pressures brought a sense of urgency.

Several local crashes and incidents, as well as the discussions around them just reenforced the idea that we need to focus again on the education and information that every person that rides a bicycle should have. That combined with the near constant private messages asking questions about bike laws in the US, having something to share that could answer most, if not all of those questions became a priority.

As a result, the impetus to build and complete this idea built until we could set aside a bit of time and resource to get it out the door. Is it done? not even remotely. There are already several more facets to add and flesh out, but the core information and education is in place. We hope that you find it to be a useful and valuable tool.
