enQuery

enQuery is, in short, the RDBMS toolbox for users, database administrators, developers, and anyone else that has a need of accessing an enterprise database engine. The longer version requires a good bit more space.

Born out of the frustration of having few enterprise database tools for the Mac, and then the use and creation of foundations in ODBCKit and PostgreSQLKit, enQuery is more than just an application. It is a suite of applications that work together to ease the problems of getting to, managing and developing databases from the Mac platform. The toolkit is essentially four applications that work together to become enQuery.

At it's core, is enQuery. This is the raw, get to the data engine. This is the tool for creating the queries and commands that handle the getting and managing the data aspects of the suite. This is also the tool for developers and DBAs that are managing and creating the structure and data in the database.

enQuery Report is the tool for creating reports based upon the data from Edit.

enQuery Presents is the presenter / run time for the reports created in Reports.

enQuery Forge is the tool for developers to create and maintain the code that is used to populate and edit the data in the database

enQuery Mobile is the tool for mobile users on the iPad and iPhone.
