The D56 Collection Manager is a simple tool designed to facilitate the recording of a collection of Department 56 collectable pieces, covering multiple series and product, encompassing collectables like the Christmas in the City pieces, and the Dickens Village collectables. This is a document based format, so that you can maintain multiple collections, and store them much as you would Documents.

Without the Dru's family, this project would not exist. But, being the pathological collectors that they are, they needed a tool to track not only who had what but what was active and retired in each collection. Thus out of need came the idea. From the Idea, came the project, which brings us here. After little initial public interest, there has been a recent resurgence of interest, and a revival of the project. So after a short hiatus from active support, the project returns. With new features, and some incremental improvements.

This software is copyright 2004-2008 Druware Software Designs, and has no affiliation with the Department 56 company. This is an unofficial collection manager, and is not sanctioned by Department 56.

1.0 - 04/26/04 - Initial Release

Requires 10.3 or newer. This release is fully functional, with no limits on functionality or usage. It is a shareware application that uses the 'honor' system for enforceing registrations. In short, if you use it and feel it is worth $10, register.
